Question says it all. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ despise this place. The fact that i need to level up the area by grinding, so i can grind more, is too much. The fact that i have to do this for SEVERAL different teeny tiny zones of this place is ridiculous, and those levels DECAY, because WHY?! Not to mention that certain monsters only appear here, which is dumb.
i am only 30 hours in and i only have 2 mosnters left of the whole game and i didnt need to grind even once. ive got the full nergigante armor with 4 kills. this is not a full monster hunter this is a demo even the 3ds games had like 500 hours content...

Is there a better place to grind these stupid things? Malachite is most commonly found in LR, any map. D. Island/ moga woods have lots of mining spots. Areas 4, 8, 10 and 12 offer the most malachite in my experience. LR volcano is also good too. I used to go to and just farm it there.

Wait for a Mining Outcrop Upsurge. It's essential to complete a route during a Mining Outcrops Upsurge, as this will increase the number of Ore yielded at each mining spot from 1 to 3. The Upsurge conditions for a map will reset with each Quest or after 10 minutes on an Expedition, so either clear a Quest and try again or wait for 10 minutes on the Lava Caverns Expedition for the Upsurge to reset.
