Ballmilling: A sustainable and green approach for starch modification
The Thai rice starch was subjected to ballmilling using 30 mm diameter zirconium oxide balls at 450 rpm for 45 min and a pause interval of 40 min after every 5 min of milling. The ballmilled rice starch improved water solubility with an increase in cold water solubility by about times over the control sample [39] .
