Yeah my first system had 2 minerals in it. And my two neighbor systems only gave me another 4. My first planet had a total of 16 natural mineral spots though. I had a +65 minerals in a short time after I colonized it. Bigdata9000 • 7 yr. ago. Paradox should have made a minimum imo.

Hi, new player here. What in God's name did I find? : r/Stellaris

I found a planet of mushroom men, integrated them into my republic and made them citizens. In a very short span of time, they had spread to most of my planets and began to outpace the growth of my own people. Their growth rate was insane. Every time I glanced at my pops they had risen twice as fast as my own.

Stellaris was never a game of comparable sizing, but this particular case is my favourite to use comparison . Sol III is 45 size planet, ringworld is 4 planets size 60. ... Lots of stuff (like the Mycelial Network or Home Base Ore Grinder) feel like they should have more lore tied to them, but they don't.

With ~200 minerals per month you'd need 100 years to get the equivalent of 12'000 minerals in bulk. You're better off taking 12k and reinvesting it into mineral production. Have to remember that is 200 minerals before upkeep, which is fairly easy to get to. Once you get a bit higher, it really starts to pay off.

what does

what does "+20% from Starbase Constructions" mean? : r/Stellaris Reddit

It means if you have a starbase module that does that thing it would get +20% output. For instance, the Nebula Refinery module. That's a very strange way of wording it. Edit: I mean on PDX's part, not yours. How so? well on the actual tech it has the icon. +20% (Mineral icon) from Starbase Constructions is pretty clear.
