I work 12 hours a day so my limited playtime in ESO is valuable to me. I don't have time to grind or farm because I just work too much irl, so, I do a 1000:1 goldtocrown exchange and provide a service to people who don't have enough money irl to get the items they want from the crown store but who have plenty of time in the game to farm gold.

The Event Daily Quest, "Turn the Page," doesn't appear to grant tickets, even though it's a daily quest. However, I was able to get tickets from one of the "regular" Telvanni daily quests. (I did the delve quest.) I also got two Esoteric Parchments from the delve boss (along with an event coffer AND an antiquity lead, all in the same drop.)
the 2 sources of xp for mages guild are the mages guild daily quest (+10 guild xp) and lorebooks. lorebooks are far faster, at least if your on PC with the lorebooks addon lol. there are several different mages guild quests, but the trouble is finding enough people to share all of them each day. plays PC/NA.
Eso+ gives another 10% and theres ambrosia that gives more. All that stacks to make it faster. Theres also a few places that are ideal grind spots. Also a 2 party group gives a xp stack, but no more no less. The Ambrosia drink buffs don't stack with the XP scroll buffs.
ZOS is obsessed with making us go through stages of gameplay, having layers of mechanics and currency, whether it's getting boxes, to get fragments, to get pets/momentos, or getting capped tickets, to buy bloody feathers to get a limited time indrik, or buying Crowns, to get Crates, to get Gems. And it drives me effing NUTS.
Even when you figure it takes 10 ESO levels to equal 1 level in another MMO, you can easily get 2 CP levels a day with minimum effort with no XP buffs. You also level ALL of your characters instead of 1. Compared to other games i have play( only a couple were Korean grind MMOs) ESO is not grindy at all. Its extremely casual actually.
